PERTANYAAN & JAWABAN
1. What makes the sentences in column A different from the sentences in B ?
Jawaban: Sentences in column A uses adverbial clauses, while sentences incolumn B uses adverbial phrases.

 2. What do you think about the length of the sentences in column A and B?
Jawaban: The length ofsentences incolumn B is shorter.

3. How do we reduce clauses tobecome phrases?
Jawaban: To reduce clauses to phrases simply take out the main subject so will become a phrase.

4. Sentences in column A contain adverbial clauses. Sentences in column B contain adverbial phrases. How do we reduce clausesto become phrases? Pay attention to the bold-typed parts of thesentences.
Jawaban: Take out the "when" & "Cut Nyak Dhien" & changed past participial "heard" to "hearing", Just omit the main subject tochange a clause into a phrase.
